We are seeking a talented Assurance Senior Manager to join our Metro-Detroit practice (offices in Troy, Farmington Hills, Ann Arbor, and downtown Detroit). You will oversee the execution of external audit and SOX engagements, and leverage your skills to assist clients with various accounting and business issues.

How You’ll Make an Impact at Rehmann:

  • Managing significant and complex external audits and SOX projects.
  • Researching technical accounting issues
  • Presenting observations and recommendations to client leadership and Audit Committees
  • Participating in accounting related consulting projects
  • Building relationships internally to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration

  • Contributing to the success of our clients’ organizations
  • Participating in marketing activities to grow the firm and generate business with new clients

Your Desired Skills and Experiences:

  • 8+ years of audit experience in public accounting
  • Experience in a corporate financial reporting or internal audit role a plus
  • Strong technical skills in accounting and auditing
  • Knowledge of SEC/PCAOB rules and SOX
  • Banking or other financial services experience a plus
  • Licensed CPA highly preferred
  • Outstanding client service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment
  • Passion for coaching others to higher levels of performance
