We are seeking a talented Assurance & Advisory Services Senior to join our Metro-Detroit practice (offices in Troy, Farmington Hills, Ann Arbor, and downtown Detroit). You will participate in the execution of external audit and SOX engagements and leverage your skills to assist clients with various accounting and business issues.

 How You’ll Make an Impact at Rehmann:

  • Planning and supervising engagements
  • Preparing and leading more complex audit areas
  • Reviewing work performed by staff
  • Participating in accounting related consulting projects
  • Monitoring engagement budgets to ensure work is completed within budgets and deadlines.
  • Building relationships internally to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration
  • Providing a “wow” experience to every client
  • Contributing to the success of our clients’ organizations
  • Developing staff associates and interns as they begin their careers in public accounting

Your Desired Skills, Values & Experiences:

  • Candidates must have 2-5 years of audit experience in public accounting
  • Strong technical skills in accounting and auditing
  • Knowledge of SEC/PCAOB rules and SOX
  • Banking or other financial services experience a plus
  • Ability to lead and motivate intern and staff level associates
  • CPA certification or progress towards the CPA exam
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Outstanding client service and communication skills
  • Desire to develop unique business solutions in a team-based environment
  • Commitment to continuous learning and development
  • Enthusiasm for helping others be successful
