Job Description

An exceptional opportunity for a well-qualified, board-certified/eligible Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep physician to work with a very dedicated, well-established, private practice, Pulmonary & Critical Care Specialists, located in Novi, MI.

The position will have inpatient responsibilities for the pulmonary medicine and medical intensive care teaching services, mainly within one of Beaumont health systems 320-bed, level II trauma centers within  ICU, emergency centers and surgery suites.

As a major clinical site for Michigan State University, we are an academically oriented teaching center with over 20 accredited residency and fellowship programs, annually training more 140 residents and fellows.

Our practice includes a large outpatient clinic which allows for an excellent work environment.  We also have an accredited sleep center and pulmonary function lab within our office. Our sophisticated resources include state-of-the-art ICU equipment.

We are seeking individuals with good clinical skills and a devotion to teaching.  Desirable attributes include management, procedural and teaching skills in pulmonary and critical care medicine.   Sleep medicine training is desirable, but not essential.  This opportunity offers a blend of clinical private practice and academics, with abundant opportunities for clinical research and teaching pulmonary and critical care fellows.

The incoming physician will be part of a collegial group. We hold weekly educational conferences and interactions with other specialties which allow us to deliver top-notch care to all our patients.

You will be part of an excellent work atmosphere while at the same time be able to maintain a good work-life balance, including an excellent call schedule which is assisted by residents and fellows.

Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with private practice opportunities, making this an excellent opportunity for those that enjoy both working with patients and teaching.
