Job Description

The Production Supervisor is responsible for production-related communication flow and coordination between all company resources committed to the linen service we provide. Meet deadlines while working under pressure to produce quality service in a safe and cost-effective manner, while preserving a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service. The objective is to utilize your experience, leadership and communication skills to direct all team members.

  1. Participate in production decisions concerning daily operational issues
  2. Proactive in production and truck driver schedules, assign and assist with all projects
  3. Establish, maintain, and implement all policies, procedures and recognize practices
  4. In collaboration with all department's budgets, efficiency and customer satisfaction
  5. Ensure the overall quality of all products are with the HLAC guidelines

This position supervises all employees of the production departments (finishing & soil) as well as truck fleet/transportation functions. The Supervisor must communicate with the Production Manager to ensure adequate personnel are available to fill all positions.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Must be available for occasional evening and weekend work.  Minimal travel required.

Preferred Education and Experience

Completion of a bachelor's degree or industrial engineering degree at an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
1.  Production and management of linen processing 
2.  5-10 years in each phase of production operation, including           management of employees and process implementation
3.  5-10 years of production and process improvement experience
4.  MAILM certification within the first two years of employment
