We are seeking a talented Department Administrator to be based in our Saginaw office. In this key role, you will assist our Assurance leaders in managing the department to assist in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.

Our ideal candidate will work approximately 30 hours per week.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Assisting with proposals for the Assurance team in collaboration with sales and word processing
  • Facilitating the onboarding process for new hires
  • Maintaining assurance team schedule, allowing us to assess staffing needs and excess capacity to assist other offices
  • Assisting with the establishment of assurance binders in our Engagement software
  • Becoming a STAR software champion to assist with establishing the team’s hour budget
  • Assisting with establishment of client portal sites and correspondence with clients
  • Assisting with our performance evaluation and goal-setting processes
  • Providing high-level administrative support to department leaders
  • Maintaining electronic databases to produce reports and other documents
  • Scheduling appointments and meetings, including facilitating travel arrangements as needed
  • Exhibiting unwavering integrity and confidentiality at all times
  • Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes

Your Desired Skills & Experiences:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced professional office environment
  • Prior experience working in public accounting, a plus
  • Ability to quickly learn and master different software programs.
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task while providing outstanding customer service to internal clients
  • Ability to handle communications in a discrete and confidential manner
  • Able to prioritize work, manage time, and work in a due-date driven environment
